Assessment  3:  Enterprise Networking Analysis This  task  involves  a  comprehensive   network  infrastructure.     This  task  for   Enterprise  Networking  analysis  involvers   as  comprehensive  review  on  Voice  over   Internet  Protocol  (VoIP).  VoIP  on  packet   switching  enterprise  networks  is  one  of   the  rapidly  emerging  real-­‐time  application   over  the  IEEE  802.11  WiFi  networks.     Students  are  required  to  analyse  current   WIFi  standard  and  critical  thinking  skills.

Task  Description     Imagine  that  APIC  has  employed  you  as  a  junior  network  administrator.  As  part  of  your   duty,   you   are   requested   to   configure   and  manage   a   network   lab   to   perform   tests   before  they  are  deployed  to  the  actual  network.  The  networking  lab  imitates  a  typical   enterprise  network  with  headquarters  and  two  branches  connected  over  the  Internet.   The  high-­‐level   logical   topology  of   the  network   is  given   in  Figure  1,  and  the  physical   layout  of  the  offices  is  given  in  Figure  2.

This  task  for  Enterprise  Networking  analysis  involvers  as  comprehensive  review  on  Voice  over   Internet  Protocol  (VoIP).  VoIP  on  packet  switching  enterprise  networks  is  one  of  the  rapidly   emerging  real-­‐time  application  over  the  IEEE  802.11  WiFi  networks.    

 

The  VoIP  is  a  form  of  audio  and  voice  communication.  It  receives  voice  signal  activities  which   are  then  encoded  in  digital  form  and  divided  into  small  parts  of  information  in  the  form  of   voice  data  network  packets.   These  data  network  packets  are  decoded  and   transmitted  as   voice  signals  then  the  sender  and  receiver  have  a  voice  conversation.
