IndoAust Jaya Pty Ltd Policy Manual
Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) Policy – POLWHS01 The owner and senior managers are committed to providing a safe workplace. We have implemented a process that maintains a culture of safety in our workplaces based on the requirements of the NSW Work Health and Safety Act 2011 and the Work Health and Safety Regulation 2011 for our registered office in NSW. Where work is carried interstate the respective state or territory legislation and regulations are to apply. A safety committee has been formed to monitor and improve our WHS program and monthly meetings are attended by at least one director to maintain a high level of awareness of the requirements that support our WHS philosophy. We understand that safety in the workplace is of paramount importance and that it is everybody’s right to leave work each day without being harmed in any way what so ever.

Fatigue Management Policy – POLFAM01 Fatigue management is a major cause of accidents in the logistic industry and all employees are subject to fatigue but particularly transport drivers. Chain of responsibility imposes obligations on all employees in the logistics industry (and all industries) no matter where they work in the supply chain. Every person must work in a way that minimises risk to others. We strive to know that procedures are in place to ensure that the dangerous effects of workplace fatigue are minimised and that our procedures and systems are continually reviewed and improved on a regular basis.
