Project Objectives
1. Obtain and plot the lift curve (the displacement diagram) and the profile of the cam
2. Identify on your cam profile the locations and the value of the largest angle. Would the pressure angle cause difficulties for a practical cam-follower system?
3. Identify on your cam profile the location of discontinuities in position, velocity, and acceleration.
4. For the values given in Table above, what design changes would you suggest to improve the cam design?
