1) Read the first chapter of InGenius. Please use the following questions to help shape your writing: HOW CAN REFRAMING A PROBLEM UNLOCK CREATIVITY AND INNOVATION?

2) Look at Thinkpak Cards #9 to 12.... apply the COMBINE method to the menu item ingredients in order to generate ideas for NEW menu items (combine 2, 3, 4, or 5 ingredients....anything goes!). For each card come up with 1 suggestion for each question on each card. As usual.....keep a GROWTH MINDSET........use the right side of the brain that is flexible and open to new ideas! No timer for this exercise as it may take some "mulling over" and rumination. No matter how wacky, absurd, or ridiculous the idea is....keep it...just write it down. Once again, focus on boundary-less thinking.....no coloring inside the lines and no thinking about which one doesn't belong. Everything goes! Just write it down! Add your combinations list to the word document and list the suggestions for each card after your responses to the last question.

3. Out of all the COMBINATIONS you came up with using the COMBINE technique, do any of them have potential in your opinion? Why or Why not? It is assumed that used a website (on a device or computer, looked at, etc.). Once running out of ideas, what else could you use as a stimulus to create a MINDSHIFT to generate a few more ideas?
