This video gives you an introduction to Artificial Intelligence, particularly it's social and political implications, which is really at the heart of this course. Some of this might be a surprise to you and the implications of these technologies, particularly when it comes to surveillance, are important. It'd almost two hours long so give yourself some time.
Artificial Intelligence. Frontline's "The Age of AI" is divided up into four related segments. Pick the one that interested you most. What were the concerns raised about the technology in the segment? Do you believe the concerns were legitimate, and do the benefits of Artificial Intelligence in that application outweigh the costs? Make sure you reference the video, so I can find the original content in the video. Be specific. For this discussion, there are not a lot of additional assigned resources to reference, so referencing more than one sources isn't required.
