Hum Homework #6 and #7

1. Describe an event you participated in or know about that is personally meaningful to you.

2. Describe what about the event was meaningful to you as you think back on it, AND WHY.

3. Describe what traces of evidence the event you describe may have left. Email? Text messages? Social media post? Letters, documents, receipts, other physical paperwork? How about video or still photographs? Drawings or paintings? Voicemails, recorded stories, or anything other evidence of the event a future historian might find? Main question: what things might a historian or archaeologist find remained and were left behind after the event?

Example: a concert might have left a digital footprint such as a Facebook Events invite or a TickTock or YouTube video. The musician might have written some text messages about the concert. Flyers mayhave been posted that advertise the event. And paper tickets could have been issued. Think about what was left behind attesting to the existence of the (real) moment or event you described being meaningful to you.

4. Describe what a future historian who knows little about the 21st century may learn and find interesting based on what you described as a personally meaningful moment or event for you. Think hard about what the event or moment you wrote about can tell a stranger from the future about our time in history and life in the 21st century.
