Discussion Prompt(s): Some recent decision aided models use artificial intelligence and other programming methods to collate and evaluate huge amounts of information in order to predict a result. The hope is that these calculations take into account more variables than a human would be able to (or want to).

Considering this please address the following prompts in your discussion:

1. Is this a step forward? Why or why not?

2. Think of an example where this approach would be beneficial and then another where it might be detrimental.

3. Support your ideas with examples and/or references.

Please be sure to validate your opinions and ideas with citations and references in APA format.
