Chapter 5 Discussion Board #4. Week4

1.     I learned that simple squamous cell’s structure is are important for respiration. Due to the thin cell layers oxygen and carbon dioxide is able to be exchanged in the lungs.

2.     I learned that red blood cells are produced in red bone marrow. Therefore, bones play an important role in creating blood supply.

Application DB (Chapters 5 or 6): This is a chance  to apply one of the chapters listed to real life . The student must write about how their learning has helped them understand their own life experiences. Writing topics can span from an injury they’ve had to a health condition their family member experienced or even how what they learned helped them understand their own body. Regardless, the connection between what was learned and how it applies to everyday life must be clear.  These posts must be a minimum of 100 words.
