Each student will submit a 2-page (minimum) think piece or 1-page art project that focuses on an issue/concern impacting Black women in the United States.

Art project: Art- "The expression or application of human creative skill and imagination, typically in a visual form such as painting or sculpture, producing works to be appreciated primarily for their beauty or emotional power" (oxfordictionaries.com, 2018). This is an opportunity for you to use the medium of art (including poem, spoken word, lyrics, collage, drawing, etc.) to highlight an issue/concern impacting Black women. You may also choose to highlight, acknowledge, and affirm an individual Black feminist.
In order to make this cohesive, please adhere to the following format: Standard paper size (8.5 x 11''); 12pt. and Georgia font; 1-inch margins, PDF upload preferred.
