Purpose of the assignment

The purpose of this assignment is to provide you with the opportunity to compare what you learned in your interview with what you learned in the course.

Description of the assignment

After the interview, you will summarize your findings and what you have learned in a 3-5 page paper. The paper will be submitted along with a copy of all the questions asked in the interview.

The introduction of your paper should be an introduction of the counselor to the reader: Who is the counselor? What is he/she licensed as? How long has he/she been in practice? Why did he/she choose working with children?

The body of your paper must address:

1. The 15 questions – talk about what you learned, not about what happened in the interview. Do not include the questions in the body of your text. Do not give a “chronological” report of the session

2. Ethical dilemma

3. Integration

4. Compare what you have learned in your interview with what you have learned in the textbooks and this course.

Complete the assignment using APA format. An abstract is not required; only title and reference pages are required.
