Ramada: Comparing international terror attacks to those involving United States targets requires a comprehensive analysis of the incidents, motivations, and the responses by respective nations. Terror attacks on international locations like Israel, Sri Lanka, Brazil, and others may have diverse motivations, such as religious extremism, political ideologies, or geopolitical tensions. On the other hand, terror attacks within the United States can be driven by domestic or foreign actors, with motives ranging from political grievances to racial or religious extremism. The responses and counterterrorism measures differ significantly between international and domestic incidents. International counterterrorism often involves cooperation between nations, intelligence sharing, and joint operations to combat global terrorist networks. In contrast, domestic counterterrorism in the United States is characterized by collaboration among various agencies, law enforcement, intelligence services, and coordination with state and local authorities. The preparedness of the United States for a terror attack is a complex and evolving issue. Several factors contribute to the nation's level of preparedness like intelligence gathering and sharing, security infrastructure, and public awareness and resilience. I believe the United States is more prepared because the United States has developed extensive intelligence capabilities, but the constantly evolving nature of terrorism necessitates ongoing improvements and the United States has invested significantly in security infrastructure since the 9/11 attacks, implementing measures to enhance transportation security, border control, and critical infrastructure protection.

Ariel: International terrorism occurs when the target is an international symbol and when the political-psychological effects go beyond a purely domestic agenda. It will be recalled that state terrorism as foreign policy is often characterized by state sponsorship of dissident movements. Compared to the United stated I believe we’re more aware and able to access if there were ever to be any other major terror attack as we have strict security protocols to prevent any terrorist activities from occurring. There are trained experts who have the tools to make rational decisions in regards to security and safety of all citizens and the use of communications with other nations for further assistance if needed.
