Teacher Pointers: To answer, take a moment to consider the topics for the week Chapter 4: Relationships and Communication & Chapter 5: Gender and Sexuality. Chapter 4 in particular, Rieck & Lundin (2016) quote Lee's core components of love, Maslow, Sternberg, etc in the reasoning for how/why we choose a partner. Yet, in order to maintain a lasting relationship effective communication is necessary. How we communicate in nine areas with our partners can significantly determine the success of the relationship (Reick & Lundin, 2016 p. 73). In essence, in relation to what the author has suggested/offered what is the relevance of your own personal experience? How does it align with the text? What could you add or disagree with?
