As organizations within various markets continuously experience growth, the use of international business is all an all-time high due to a saturation of domestic markets, low cost in labor, increased in demand and many other factors. When a global collaboration takes place within the workplace, the organization’s human resource management is often affected. The following factors are constantly affected due to the change of culture, beliefs and regulations: Government regulations, economical conditions, technological advancements, and workforce demographics. My name is Ludmilla the Uzbek Director. Some factors besides cultural differences could be education, economics systems, and political-legal systems. Money is a factor too. Money is what decides about all the other factors. I am here to help Juanita to know more about my country. I am going to help her see how we pay and how much they pay. I think it was a good idea for Juanita taking a week to learn about my country and learning about the local market pay rates and the labor laws. This will help her succeed. I want to give some reasons for high failure rate of expatirate managers. One of the reasons is lack of local support, without local support things could fail quickly. A second reason could be disconnection from home country. A third reason could be domestic difficulties. A fourth reason could be failure to plan. I am here to help Juanita keep from failing. I have information ready for her to go over and she can check out the companies strengths and weaknesses. I also gathered information about the local support for her. I explained to her, because of government control, the country still has heavy tax burdens, trade restrictions which drive many employers to use the informal economy when employing workers. I told her the appraisal systems are leaning like the developed countries. I told her about us providing first class Management Skills training. Our work methods lean toward the European ways, we are more laid back and get more time off than the American workers.
