Purpose of Assignment
The purpose of this assignment is to have learning teams study how to develop and grow an HR department by designing a career development plan for all HR department personnel with a corresponding succession plan for leaders in the department. To accomplish this, students must understand the importance of needs assessments in order to appropriately consider vacancies, readiness, and transition risks.
