Individual Assignment: Employment Law Compliance Plan
Purpose of Assignment
An integral part of HR’s role is to apprise organizational personnel of the various employment laws that can affect the company and to effectively communicate the legal and financial consequences for non-compliance of the employment laws relevant to the operations. In this assignment, the CEO wants HR to submit a report on major employment laws affecting an organization with more than 15 employees. To complement the purpose of the report, and to be used as a training video, work is started on the creation and production of an Employment Laws Training video appropriate for supervisors, managers, and senior-level officials that will later be completed and submitted in Week 5.
