v Description of your business

Consider you have your own small business. Write a description of your company in report format. It

must be a minimum of two pages and must contain all the information listed below.

Every item needs a detailed explanation.

1. Name of your business-company

2. Identify in which industry the company is operating

3. Identify mission/vision statement of the company

4. List and describe goals and objectives of the company

5. Identify products and/or services

6. Identify at least 5 positions required in the company

ü Examples: HR assistant, Accounting specialist, Finance manager or Marketing director

and etc.

7. Design an organizational chart and describe the following:

ü Identify how many employees will you need in each department such as (HR,

Accounting, Finance or Marketing department –if any) and why?

Refer to Employment Planning. (You must have at least 1 employee in each

department.)

ü Use graphics to help convey your ideas

8. Bonus Question:

ü Describe the ways/channels you can communicate the culture of your business-

company to your employees.

♦ Include References: APA Style - (see Moodle)

♦ Report Layout

Ø Do not forget to use the COVER PAGE (see Moodle)

Ø Font Size and Type: 12-pt. Times New Roman Font.

Ø Line Spacing: Double-space throughout the paper.

Ø The text should be justified.

Ø Margins: One inch on all sides (top, bottom, left, right)
