What am I required to do in this assignment?

Individual Report The recent catastrophic effects of the pandemic due to coronavirus COVID-19 changed the complete lifestyle of all walks of life. The focus primarily pertains to HRM in the current context. The current HRM traditional practices demands a major revamp to address the continuity of businesses and companies. Human resources needs to deal with unique measures like downsizing, work from home as the new normal to ensure the productivity of work stays as par the requirements. Also, the work life balance, while working around the family and cope up with the stress and meeting targets. You are required to write a report highlighting and evaluating the contemporary HR practices by supporting your argument with academic review on ANY ONE of the below mentioned topics:
A. Human Resource Planning. B. Health and Safety at Workplace. C. Selection Function.
Your report could follow the following format (this is a suggested framework. If you have any other presentation framework and the flow is more agreeable to you, then you are more than welcomed to use it)
1. INTRODUCTION: It should consist of the following: Definition/s, Importance of chosen topic, and the major challenges in chosen topic.
2. LITERATURE REVIEW –Importance of chosen topic in today’s dynamic business environment.
3. CONCLUSION –You may like to give a summary of your major points.
4. Ensure that referencing has been consistently applied throughout all sections of your assignment. As a gauge, there should be adequate Harvard Styled academic references or citations. Include in charts / models/ diagrams to support your discussion. Inadequate referencing will invite penalty.
Guidelines for the Individual Report
Your work will be graded on the following aspects:
1. This is an Individual Assignment.
2. Your assignment shall reflect the depth and breadth of your original analyses in a clear and coherent manner.
3. Use of the relevant academic literature to support ideas and issues discussed. The range of academic sources such as texts and journals to support your arguments and comments.
5. This assignment follows a report style and must be original and creative. An analytical piece of work is required. The use of ‘cut and paste’ approach will be penalized. It must be presented in a structured manner, with appropriate cover page, content page, introduction, body (with appropriate heading / sub-headings), conclusion, references, page numbered and any required appendices.
6.You should provide all the materials used as source of reference at the end of your document.
