Reflection

Professor –

I was about 20 mins late to the seminar due to physical therapy, so I wanted to make sure and get credit by doing option two as well. I look forward to being in this class and learning a lot from you. With that being said, here is what I learned.

Course syllabus:

· Try and read ahead, giving a better understanding of the unit.

· By the end of the course the learning outcomes will be to discuss the reasons internal alignment is an essential policy in compensation, examine job analysis, design a pay-for-performance plan, analyze the role of government in regard to compensation, contrast methods of developing a total compensation strategy, and understand competitiveness and collaboration in a global economy.

· You gave us contact information to reach you should there be any question, I much appreciate this.

· Grading criteria: you stated about APA format the first two weeks you will give feedback if something needs to be fixed in the following weeks to earn full credit. Each week there are two discussion boards for a total of 30 points, severely impacting the grade if not completed. The discussion boards also have to be done over three days. For ten weeks, there are nine assignments, and for quizzes, there are 4 and 1 final.

At this time, this is where I logged into the class. You were very gracious and said I didn’t have to do option 2. I did want you to know that I heard everything you talked about, and I understand your requirements. Thank you very much, and I am excited to learn.
