Introduction
Summarize PPO’s situation. Explain the MDQ model and its purpose. Explain who the decision maker is and why the MDQ is being used by PPO. Prepare the reader on the contents of the paper.
Step One: Decision Statement

Explain what purpose a decision statement serves in the MDQ model. Clearly state the decision statement in the paper as provided to you. Explain why this decision statement accurately reflects the decision that must be made. Defend your logic using support with APA in-text citations.
Step Two: Framing the Decision
Explain what Framing the Decision means in terms of Step Two in the MDQ. Explain and define terminology such as purpose, scope, and perspective. Discuss in detail, using a separate paragraph for each of these components: the purpose, scope, and perspective for PPO. Explain and define the purpose in creating objectives in the MDQ model. Explain in detail, using a separate paragraph for each of your FOUR objectives for PPO. Support all logic with sources, using APA in-text citations.
Step Three: Building the Decision
Explain what Building the Decision means in terms of the Step Three in the MDQ. Discuss and explain in one paragraph what information PPO needs to gather. Discuss and explain in detail, using a separate paragraph for each of your FOUR alternatives for PPO. Explain the consequences in your description. Additional research is required to support each of the four alternatives. Must use APA in-text citations.
Step Four – Part A Decision Matrix
Explain the purpose in using decision matrices in Step Four of the MDQ. Post the first decision matrix (unweighted) and provide the scale. Follow this with an explanation on how you derived the ranking of the objectives and alternatives (each of the individual numbers) in the matrix. Support by using in-text citations. Post the second decision matrix (weighted) and provide the weights. Follow this with an explanation on how and why you derived the weights for the objectives. Support by using in-text citations. Explain your logic in detail.
Step Four – Part B
Based on the results of the Decision Matrices evaluate and analyze all of PPO’s alternatives and Objectives. State the final decision by explaining and justifying it with the numbers in the matrix.
Step Five: Assess the Decision Process
Discuss and review the decision-making process using the MDQ model. Explain in detail, if the final decision (chosen alternative) fulfilled PPO’s objectives. Discuss which objectives were fulfilled through this process.
