How to make a paper boat that floats

To make a boat from paper utilizes minimal and available materials.
Only a piece of printer paper is required in this practical.
It takes only a few minutes to shape the paper into a boat that can float in water.
Step 1
Find a piece of paper
Place it in front of you on a bench. Ensure the side that is shorter is at the top.
From the top to the bottom, fold the paper like a hamburger; ensure you have folded the paper into a half.
Step 2
Bend the paper from left to right
Find the center of the paper and reopen
Ensure the two corners are brought to the middle of the paper and a point and a pleat is formed.
Step 3
Fold the flap at the bottom up and then turn the other side and fold the flap upwards.
The flaps will have small triangle tabs out. Fold them to make a big triangle of the overall paper.

Hold the boat against the floor for a few second to reinforce the corners.
Release it and it is ready to float on water.
