How to log into SAP and show your userID
Important Note:
· This tutorial was done using a server named SCHINN and client number 123.
· The server you are supposed to use and client number are: HONDA and client num is: 534.
1. Start the SAP program by searching for SAP in the search box at the bottom of your screen and then click SAP Logon
2. Search for SAP server you have to use and double click. In this example we want to use #SCHW server
3. Enter the client num, userID, and password and hit Enter or click the green check sign
4. SAP will ask you to change your password the first time you login. If you try 3 times to log on with wrong credentials (wrong userID or wrong Password or wrong client num), the system will lock you out and I have to unlock you.
5. If your login information are correct, SAP will display some messages, hit enter or click
6. Now your screen should look like this:
7. To show your userID on SAP menu bar, click the arrow (next to the lock icon) on far-right top of the screen
8. Now the far-right top of your screen might look like this (or showing something else):
9. Click a. the area (where 123 is displayed) and a drop-down list appears, select USER and b. SAP will display your user-ID
