I commenced the process by first identifying and determining a significant healthcare topic that suits a more extensive population's best interest. Upon conducting few searches, I landed on the role of exercise in promoting human mental health. Exercise can be described as any bodily activity whose primary focus is to enhance, improve, or maintain physical fitness and the body's overall health and wellness. There are four different types of exercises that can be performed for various reasons. The significant types of exercise include endurance, flexibility, balance, and strength. Scientifically, bodily exercises have been proven to be the best mood booster that decreases mental-related issues such as depression and anxiety (Gingell, 2018). By reducing symptoms of both anxiety and depression, endorphin levels are increased, which triggers the brain and spinal cord to produce feelings of happiness and euphoria.
I began my search using the terms “role of exercise," where the search generated 500 results. Then I added a string of terms to the initial search, which read "role of exercise in mental health" this further changed the result to 275, and among this result, I selected only the peer-reviewed academic journal, which gave me a final result of 98 which to me appear to be a good and reasonable number that could provide vast knowledge and enough details to explore the topic intensively (Gingell, 2018).
In case a is unable to find enough details based on the healthcare research topic of concern or interest, there exist a variety of steps that could be taken to achieve desired results. One of the ways is to broaden and generalize the search and perhaps vary search engines to an obtained a wide range of information. Step 2 is that the peer ought to use specific keywords to get standardized content, step 3, the peer needs to make use of simplified search terms by employing frequently used words, use quotation marks to cut out stemmed variations, further the peer is also advised to refine the search by using operators to ensure they get results of only one or two related terms simultaneously.
