How MD4058 Study Skills is organised

You will be covering a new topic for each Teaching Block. For each topic you should have the following 4 stages;

Pre Lecture Task

These consist of preparation activities and/or reading to be completed before your lecture. The activities are relatively short but vitally important to complete in order for you to get the most from the lectures

Lecture

This presentation is led primarily by your tutor either on line or in the classroom and may sometimes contain short discussions/brainstorming ideas

Homework

This will offer further reading and information on the topic you have covered in the Lecture and will help in your seminars

Seminar /Independent Study

These will contain activities for you to do with your tutor and also in your own time. Any activities here will consolidate your learning from each related lecture and help you with your final assignment completion.
