Post your Essay 3 Literary Analysis Draft.
In Week 6, you will submit the revised, final essay as your assignment.
Choose a fiction story from the readings in the textbook. Offer an analysis of one literary element such as characterization, theme, symbolism, or setting.
To help you focus, try to organize your essay based on one of the following questions:
How do the characters reflect the author's ideas about society?
How do the characters reflect gender roles or cultural norms?
How does the theme connect to the larger human experience in a unique way?
How does the symbolism reinforce the action or the main idea or message?
How does the setting reflect the mood of the characters or action and result of the story?
