EC
1. You should have already selected your research topic and completed the research proposal and the works cited page for your research project. In the course of writing the research paper, you may, of course, add more sources.
2. Make sure you have narrowed your topic.
3. You MUST have a minimum of 12 sources for this project; these sources have to be a mixture of newspaper articles, magazine articles, books, and academic journal articles. Read up on your topic.
4. You are writing a researched argument, so follow the argument template I provided you with in earlier weeks. Make sure you have a strong refutation, which generally will appear before the final paragraph. Enter the argument or controversy from a unique point of view.
5. You will NOT have to include graphics.
6. I will require 2 footnotes: A footnote is material that should not be included in the main paper, but is additional information that you want your reader to have about your topic. These footnotes can include referring your reader to other articles on your topic, or to expand further on an idea in your paper.
7. The paper MUST include accurate in-text citations from MLA and an accurate Works Cited page (you would have already upload the works cited page, but still include it in the final draft of your final essay.
8. The essay MUST be a minimum of 5 pages and a maximum of 7 pages. This means 5 FULL written pages -- this excludes the works cited page.
