 While the handbook addressed an overview of positive behavior support at the individual level, there is a wealth of resources and research on the topic of implementing school-wide. Research, from reputable sites and organizations, the salient aspects of positive behavior support school-wide plan and clearly indicate in no less than three well-developed paragraphs. Then write a positive behavior support plan for your future classroom including the salient points. Be sure to indicate how you will recognize positive behavior as well as correcting negative behavior. You may use some creative license in imaging and referencing a school-wide plan.

Assignment 2 No Plagiarism Equity in Education Reflection Task

You have had the opportunity to watch several videos on equity in early childhood education.  Reflect on some of the greatest takeaways from each of the videos.  Discuss how each of the discussions had in each video compare with one another and how they, collaboratively, make valid points for achieving equity in education.  Finally, discuss how you, yourself can help to ensure that you are constantly creating an equitable environment for your students that will positively impact the ways in which they engage in their communities and with their families.

· On the upper left-hand corner, type your first and last name, your professor's name, the course code and title (ECE-111: Society, Family, and Diversity), and the date.

· In the center of the paper, provide a title of your choice.

· Your actual response should be no fewer than 300 words, but no more than 500 words in length.  Points will be deducted for responses that do not meet these criteria.

· You are allowed to write in first person, as this is a personal reflection

For your second and final essay, please choose one of the following chapters in your text, which weren't specifically covered in this course:

Write an essay explaining how these problems would be viewed by a sociological theory of your choosing. (You may find info about theory in chapter 1 of your text, as well as in the "Understanding Sociological Theory" resource in your Course Materials on the home page.) The three traditional major perspectives are:

· Structural-Functionalism

· Symbolic Interactionism

· Conflict Theory

You may, however, use other appropriate sociological theories you have encountered in your learning.

Using this theory, address the following questions:

· How can the theory you've chosen help explain why the social problem exists, or why it qualifies as a problem?

· How can the theory help explain why the problem still exists?

· How do you think the theory might inform possible solutions to the problem?
