Homework 1

As with all projects, the first step of project management begins by identifying a need/opportunity (the idea) and conceptualizing a valuable solution. 

Identify a need in your home, at work, or in your community and draft a proposed project-based solution. 

Share your proposed project in the following format:

Goal: What will your project accomplish?

Opportunity: What is the problem?

Solution: How will your project resolve the problem and help accomplish the goal?

Based on the need or opportunity identified for the Project Definition assignment, please follow the text from pages 42 - 47 and develop a Project Charter for your project. 

Please note on the rubric this assignment is a minimum of two pages in length.
