Hurricane Maria

This was a deadly disaster witnessed on September, 2017.

It caused numerous fatalities.

Okanogan complex fire in 2015

The fire was caused by lightning strikes.

Thousands of land acres were destroyed and three fire fighters killed.

This hurricane was one of the most tremendous disasters. The hurricane hit Puerto Rico and claimed over three thousand lives. It also caused an estimated loss of $91.61billion (Paton, 2016).The disaster management services tried took part in the life-saving operation. The researchers concluded that lack of awareness caused tragic deaths. The Okanogan complex fire that occurred in Washington state was tragic. It destroyed thousand of land and claimed three lives (Chamberlain, 2020)
