Focus: Challenges, Barriers, and Factors that Impact U.S. Hospitals

Provide a Response to Part 1 and Part 2 - Address Each Aspect, as Defined Below: 

Part 1 - Challenges and Barriers for U.S. Hospitals: Identify an article or publication, from the last three years, that discusses the challenges and/or barriers for hospitals operating in the United States in terms of managing patient care, patient safety, and/or quality of care delivery processes. Share at least two key takeaways that you learned from this article or publication, and why these takeaways are important to understand from a hospital manager's lens. 

Part 2 - Factors that Influence in U.S. Hospital Care: Discuss how one of the following factors influences the healthcare delivery processes for U.S. hospitals: (a.) clinical practice guidelines; (b.) evidence-based medicine; (c.) primary care relationships with acute care settings; or (d.) care coordination with external providers, outside the hospital setting. Provide an example of the factor(s) that you selected.
