PRIMARY SOURCES

“Battle of Midway: CinCPac Report.” Crucibleteachnotes.html, www.ibiblio.org/hyperwar/USN/rep/Midway/Midway-CinCPac.html.

It was written by Commander-in-Chief, United States Pacific Fleet to The Secretary of Navy. It

was the report of Japanese raid on Pearl Harbor. Though being a primary source, it is just the

report presented, I may not employ this source in my paper.

“Battle of Midway: Ensign Gay, Oral History.” Crucibleteachnotes.html, www.ibiblio.org/hyperwar/USN/ships/logs/CV/cv8-EnsGay.html.

It is all about the flaws made by United States in Battle of Midway. Lieutenant Gay was talking

about how easy it would be if they had one fighter with them. I would employ this as a source

for my research paper.

Fuchida, Mitsuo, and Masatake Okumiya. Midway, the Battle That Doomed Japan; the Japanese Navy's Story. Naval Institute, 1976.

It is about how Japanese planned to take out the US Navy in the battlefield. The main reason

was to destroy the US Navy Completely but the victory was not on their side. I will use this as a

source for my research paper.

“USS Enterprise CV-6The Most Decorated Ship of the Second World War.” USS Enterprise CV-6, www.cv6.org/company/accounts/wmcclusky/.

It’s about how LCDR C. Wade McClusky led scouting six and bombing six to attack Japanese. It

contains detail about how they destroy two Japanese carriers: Kaga and Akagi. I will not use this

as my source for research paper.
