  1. Select one of the documents from the Documentary reader or from Blackboard (there may also be a more complete version there). Chose a document relevant to US History between 1920 and 1940.

 

2. Write a 5-6 page paper showing how the chosen document reflects general issues, trends or opinions discussed in the textbook as characteristic of the period we are studying.

 

3. Document your ideas by providing direct quotes from the document or paraphrases.  In either case, add the page number in parentheses at the end of the passage.
