The new tech economy differs in many ways than many other parts of the economy and other lines of business. In the post-industrial information economy, the tech sector is the new source of prosperity. How has the tech economy transformed America and how is it continuing to do so? What are the issues of the divide between the creative class and the service class? Is our educational system preparing students to be part of the creative class so they could be the next Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, or Mark Zuckerberg, or does it teach 1950's conformism? Are we prepared for the 21st Century creative economy?
