History 1301 Test 2

For this test, I want you to write an essay analyzing the evolution of slavery from the establishment of the nation (so ratification of the Constitution) to the 1850s. Be sure to discuss the legislation that was put in place as well as the technology, society, and resistance that surrounded the “peculiar institution.”
