In your first paragraph, summarize the contents of the primary source. Please limit the summarizing portion of the analysis essay to a single paragraph. In your second paragraph, discuss the historical significance of the primary source. In other words, the second paragraph should discuss why we are studying the primary source. Your discussion of the historical significance may exceed a single paragraph, but you can accomplish the assignment requirements with a single paragraph of historical significance.
