Establishing the team:
Working in the same place for the same leader with a group of people is not always teamwork, the team is the responsibility to conclude the work together with the right outcome (Alim & Syamsuddin, 2018). We have met during the first class of this course and everyone introduced himself to others. We were doing all the activities during our classes together, also we were able to collaborate and participate with an open-minded and an accepting of the differences and similarities between our personalities. We elected our leader upon the skills that he has to lead us and schedule all the meeting with time management. As the leader talked to us in regard to the responsibilities and roles, we decided to give everyone a job in each element during our work. We were putting the right job for each one of us with the skills that we have. We were able during our presentation to conclude our working with a high productivity performance.
Team processes:
We created a new group on Facebook to communicate and share ideas with each other. Facebook is a useful social media platform that helps students to gather in groups, which provides a brief view of the users’ profile. Also, it is representing a flexible interacting tool that used for sharing various of media posts instead of just communicating (Avram, 2014). We did not have any protocols for behaviour, we were working as one hand with more helping and more excitement.. During our work, we referred to studies supporting our ideas. As a result, when Grace interviewed the manager of the organisation about how to encourage your staff to work with teams? She said we are encouraging staff by team bonding social activities, training and close network group. We suggest that team goal pledge represent a motivational technique that gets involved in the relationship between team training and team innovation, with the support for each member to get to the goal (Rousseau, 2013). Another related question was asked to the manager is, what is the value of working in a team? We found out that Deichmann (2017) explained that first, working in teams benefit the members on the way of finding a various way of resources and leads to developing the coordination costs. Second, sharing the risk and costs of developing an idea necessitates sharing the potential rewards of a successful idea.
Strengths and Challenges:
We were a diverse team with a lot of abilities and skills that helped us to share everyone experiences. We have one aspect of diversity which is culture, and it was not impacting our work processes, it was a strength that helps us to develop the work and come up with a productive conclusion. There was a challenge that we faced which is time limit of twenty-second for each idea in the presentation.
Equal Contribution Policy:
As our team equally collaborated during our work, three of us did the researches and made arguments and the other two worked on designing the presentations with the ‘Pecha Kucha Style’, and One of our members volunteered to do the interview and share the information with us. We were acknowledging that everyone in the team have had the chance to do something that he is good at.
Conclusion:
( Talk about working from home and how you worked with your team through Facebouck and Google’s Doc due to Corona Various) In conclusion, our team was responsible and careful with every single element we wanted to do. The one main thing that some of the team members should do differently is managing their time to meet the rest of the team on the time that we decided to do the meeting on. However, we found the solution with this problem quickly which was using technology to be together all the time via Facebook Group. As a result, the experience that we got from this teamwork was beneficial for all of us. We helped a business with our recommendation to improve their teamwork at their organisation, and we develop us since and knowledge about the teamwork in an existing local organisation. In regard to choosing this organisation, we decide to find an organisation that teamwork is the main element in their business model.
