Homework Objective: To help us understand how the event will run (overview document), what is expected from each person as it relates to the 5 committee roles (ex: Leadership, Procurement etc)

· Complete both sections

· Part 1 – only complete the questions related to your role. My role is marketing. Our group health fair topic is Chronic diseases.

· Part 2 – answer all questions.

Part 1: Roles Check-In

a. Marketing – your role is to market/promote the event to get both vendors and participants to attend. Review the marketing strategy that you and your group worked on a few weeks ago

i. Aside from posting on social media, how can we get the word about the event to the TAMUC community?

ii. You are asked to write a 1-2 sentence announcement about the upcoming health fair, what would you say?

iii. Think about your group topic and marketing strategy, what is an event hashtag you would suggest we use?

Part 2: Reflection check – in

After reading over the Health Fest document about the event and how we will prepare

a. List out the major tasks needed to be completed as a group to prepare you for your Mock presentation on April 5th (minimum 3 tasks, maximum 5 tasks)

b. List out the major tasks needed to be completed as a group to prepare for the actual event on April 13th (minimum 5 tasks, maximum 7 tasks)

i. Be sure to indicate who should be responsible for each one (ex: Posting about event – marketing)

c. What is one way you can personally help to promote this event to your classmates in other classes or peers in the organizations you are a part of?
