Content Area Standards

Hey Barbara, One of our classmates reached out and said "Based on my understanding, I think Dr. Hopper wants us to use the linked National Standards (choose whichever link that correlates to the subject you intend to teach) for this assignment. After choosing one of the links, you will be redirected to its perspective website where you will find your subject’s National Standards (on the science link, I had to use the search bar & type in Standards to find them). After the Standards load and you have reviewed them, write a 1 page paper about where your subject’s National standards originated from, provide details about one standard that specifically deals with reading/writing (It may say something like RST.11-12.1….this is for science), and how you plan to address & get students to meet that particular reading/writing standard in your class.
