Here are some step by step tips in completing the week 9 assignment. I hope these are helpful!

Capstone Project Change Proposal: For this assignment you are providing a written overview of your work in this course. For all sections which have been previously submitted ensure you look back at the grading comments and make any needed changes based on my comments.  Please ensure you include the following

1. Background: For this section provide a written overview with citation discussing the topic you have chosen. For example if you have chosen a project to improve handwashing discuss why handwashing is important and how good handwashing is needed in healthcare.

2. Problem statement: Your problem statement is the overview of the problem you identified: for our handwashing example it is a discussion of the poor handwashing you have observed or been made aware of and the cause of the poor handwashing. 

3. Purpose of the change proposal: For this section discuss the benefits of implementing the change, what will the positive outcome e

4. PICOT: Here you simply put your PICOT statement in

5. Literature search strategy employed: Here you provide a short overview of how you found your literature (GCU library, Google Scholar etc)

6. Evaluation of the literature: Provide an overview of all of the articles you found in paragraph format talking about the literature similar to a literature review you would find in a nursing journal article

7. Applicable change or nursing theory utilized: Provide an overview the the change theory you are using, remember it must be an established theory, if you have any questions about this please let me know

8. Proposed implementation plan with outcome measures: if you were to implement you plan or if you did implement your plan what did you do, how did you put your plan into practice including communication, materials etc.

9. Identification of potential barriers to plan implementation, and a discussion of how these could be overcome: these can include staff resistance, financial resources, time etc.

10. Appendix section, if tables, graphs, surveys, educational materials, etc. are created: if in your implementation plan you re educating the staff you must include the educational materials (ppt, lecture note, brochure etc)
