Hello Parents!

My name is Mrs. Devon LaBoy, and I will be the current teacher for your children for the next month. I am 26 years old, and I am born and raised in upstate in a town called Oneonta. I come from a very large family, and I’ve always had a knack for working with large groups and had a passion for working with children. I currently reside in upstate New York with my husband, Albert, and our two pups, Nelly, and Luna. I am also currently working towards my bachelor’s degree in Education Studies at the University of Arizona Global Campus. I have only been working in this field for the past year, but I am a very quick learner and eager to help others learn. The curriculum will be based off of learning the alphabet, the four seasons, different types of weather as well as animals where they live and what sounds they make.  I encourage you parents to always make an effort to ask questions and be as involved in your children’s education as much as possible. Do not be afraid to come to me with any concerns. I will make note to reach out to each parent weekly to let you know of any progress with your child and will leave a “parental notes” envelope for each parent if there’s anything that you believe needs to be brought to my attention. I am most excited to get more experience with being a full teacher and watching how the students learn and react to my presence!
