Note: the same health and/or safety policy must be used for all three activities.
A. Each student will be required to develop a written and illustrated policy for a child care facility. The student must choose either (1) encouraging children to eat and develop good nutritional habits with 3 year olds or (4) fire safety with 4 year olds. Write a one page typed description of the policy that will be taught to the class and a one page typed explanation of why it is important in an early childhood setting.
***Both papers must be submitted in class and on line through Blackboard or no credit will be given for the assignment.
