1. Who are the key industry players that raise a red flag in your industry segment? Why?

There are several key industry players that raise a flag in my industry segment, one of them is employee groups, upon realization of a potential problem or threat the employees usually notifies the management so that the right actions are taken before the threat causes any damage. The second key industry player that raises a red flag in my industry is the management team, in some cases when the top management identifies a probable threat which is likely to affect our industry, they usually raise a red flag to all employees, the reason for doing this is to ensure that the normal operations are not affected. The reason as to why the management raises a red flag is because they can identify probable threats at an early stage (Lellis,2016).

2. Why is this industry causing disruption? Cite 3-5 explicit examples.

The main reason as to why this industry is causing disruption is because it has sufficient resources; thus, it can work effectively; thus, it can successfully challenge the establishment incumbent business. The industry is causing disruption because it is using advanced technology as well as technology (Sandberg, 2018).

3. When you conduct an internet search on your topic about regulatory and compliance issues, what are some of the key regulatory and compliance issues in your business area of concern?

The key regulatory and compliance issues in my business area of concern comprise of; safety; this one of the main regulatory in my industry of concern as it applies in the healthcare industry in general. The second key compliance issues in my business of concern are the privacy of clients information; the business is supposed to ensure that all the client's information is kept private and confidential. The last regulatory issue which affects my business is billing practices; this is meant to ensure that no complaints from clients (Boaden,2017).

4. Has the federal, state, or local government had to develop specific law or develop measures of compliance to protect citizens and businesses from harm?

Yes, the federal government has developed a law known as privacy law, which is meant to protect the citizens from harm; in general, the law protects citizen's information from being shared to anybody (Jiang,2016).

5. Evaluate 5-10 Internet Website Privacy Statements for the industry you have been given. Do you see a trend on the type of data that the vendor is concerned about? If so, please state what is most evident in the statements?

In the websites, I have reviewed there is a trend on client data; all of them are emphasizing on the privacy of clients data. They argue that it is important to enhance privacy and comply with regulatory issues (Obar, 2016).

6. How your industry does/has handled its last major data breach? Which legal mechanism is most relevant to your industry of concern?

A data breach refers to a security incident of unauthorized release of private and sensitive information (Khaloufi, 2018).  In my industry, the last major data breach was handled through updating of the recovery plan in the aim of preparing future attacks. A security audit was also done before accessing the backup system.

7. What do literature and your research suggest about how the industry will need to deal with the regulatory concerns over time?

Various researches suggest that the industry can deal with regulatory concerns by ensuring that only qualified personnel is deployed in the industry to enhance privacy. They have also suggested that the industry can deal with regulatory concerns through ensuring that the industry has a strong backup, which can be used in the event of a data breach.
