Find an article in a newspaper, magazine, or online that reports about a current event (past 6 months) involving a health communication issue or event. Provide a link to the article or the text of the article with your assignment.

Write at least a 2-page paper that summarizes the article in the first paragraph and then applies at least two theoretical perspectives to what was reported about the issue or event involved in the article. You can approach each perspective separately, OR you can blend or combine theoretical approaches. Ultimately the purpose is to critique the event or issue in terms of the theory or principles you are applying.

Use good writing mechanics for your paper. That includes providing an introductory paragraph that previews the structure of your paper, a well-organized body of the paper, and a concluding paragraph that summarizes the paper and provides concluding thoughts. Please use double-spacing and 1” margins. Use a separate title page for your name, paper title, date, and course number.
