Hardware/Software Specification
Summary:
.doc, .pdf, or .xls files only
Submit your Hardware/Software Specification. You can submit any type of document, but it must cover your client (if any) and your servers (if any). For example, if you list a 3-Tiered client-server Architecture than what Hardware and Software will your client need, and what Hardware and Software will your two Servers need? Like the text, you must cover the Hardware, Software, OS, and Network requirements.
Comments from Professor on the Hardware Software Assignment -
So, this is the hardware software specification. This is something very small, but if you're going to have a a2 or multitiered client-server architecture. What hardware and software would you need? They had their client in this case. They, had a thicker client here that that needed to be a Windows ten Pro. And that was the actual hardware and network specifications. And then they had to servers because again, they had a thicker client. So, some of the application side was going to be handled from, from the client. But this is what the application server hardware and infrastructure needed to look like. And same for the database server. And you see there is, there are some similarities. I would utilize Google search. I don't like to be experts in this type of stuff that you can look up. What latest application or latest database server and those type of things are forgetting something. You could even be unique and do something map based. I suppose if you wanted to try concerning clients or that type of thing. But it can be on an Excel document. It can be in a Word document as long as you explain what the hardware and software operating system, any hardware requirements in network requirements. More proficient and understanding what some of the requirements and you need to be able to create these servers or spin up VMs and that type of thing. But you'll need to know more of what you'll have to buy or procure for your, for your systems.
