Description of the Organization

Centum Banking Limited is a private limited company established in 1972 as the first banking agency in the state of Atlanta. It was established under the joint venture principle whereby its ownership is between the state government and the general public. The vision of the banking organization is to offer affordably reasonable returns to middle-class and marginalized depositors within the state while guaranteeing the security of their funds. Through its extensive branch networks, the bank also assures borrowers of appropriate credit services at an affordable cost. The organization also aimed to offer easy access to loans for individuals categorized at high-risk as they lack any collateral to secure loans by conventional means. Over the years, the organization has grown to comprise of 25 branches. The head office relocated in 2002 and it is currently situated in Texas.

Due to its sound institutional values and management practices, the organization’s numbers grew due to the assurance, reliability, and ease that individuals had in depositing and accessing funds. The processing of loans is also accomplished over a short duration of time due to the organization's extensive networks located around the country. Besides this, Centum Insurance offers an array of attachment and training opportunities to alumni university students within states of operation.

The department of customer service deals with customer relations which constitutes among the most critical services. This includes opening new accounts, service inquiry, publishing account statements, issuing cheque books, closing of accounts, mobile banking registration. Similarly, the loan approval department is an asset within Centum Banking Limited. They are tasked with the approval of various types of loans including home loans, professional loans, agricultural loans, and education loans. Other invaluable departments include remittance and cash trailers. Since the establishment of Centum Bank, it has catered to a large clientele while expanding its range of services to include e-banking, mobile banking, and ABBS services.
