Project Proposal on Community Food Security Innovation

TOPIC: Traditional food recovery program within youths in Africa (Choose one or two foods) as your case study.

Overview of selected topic (Wise practice/sustainable diets), position the topic within the larger context of literature (big picture- bring key literature and show how it reaches out to Indigenous communities International) .

Select a community based food security Innovation Internationally and Develop the proposal to study the selected initiative using details such as:

· Description of study communities (geography, political/governance history, demographics etc.)

· What is already known about the community (through literature and your own experience)

· Also provide some literature support to show how your project fit into big picture, why is your topic important (6-8 references)

· Explain the reason for selection/Why did you pick this case? Purpose and Objectives/research questions

· One Central question/Goal/ Purpose of the project

· Broad question that asks for exploration of the central phenomenon= same as purpose statement

· Last questions should be related to recommendations to improvement in community through wise practices/sustainable diet etc.
