Guidelines for the Final Dissertation Project

During weeks 12, 13 and 14, you have to prepare your final submission for grading.

You have to submit three separated documents using the Submission Links under the final weeks:

1. Summary 2. Dissertation project 3. PowerPoint Presentation

A. Summary

Brief summary of the first part of the dissertation that was submitted in the first part of the module (UU- EDU731-1). The summary must include a short description of your work: objectives, a brief statement of the arguments that will follow and the methods used. The summary will help your tutor understand the theme of your dissertation so as to grade the rest part of your work.

B. The submission of the Dissertation Project must include the following parts:

1. Cover page 2. Table of contents 3. A brief summary of the first part of the dissertation (approximately 500 words) 4. Discussion and data analysis (approximately 3.500 words) 5. Conclusions and Recommendations (approximately 3.500 words) 6. Reference list (APA style format) 7. Appendices

C. The Powerpoint presentation should be 25 slides.

Tips:

 Make sure that your assignment is within the total word limit.  Make sure that the power point presentation does not exist the maximum number of slides.  Recheck that the in-text citations and the reference lists (in the dissertation project as well as in

the power point presentation) are formatted according to the APA guide.  Confirm that your assignment meets the summative marking criteria included in the relevant

document under the welcome section of the module.  Save your dissertation project as a draft and check the Turnitin score before attempting your final

submission.
