DESCRIPTION Analyze the company CSR policy, highlight the key findings and make recommendations on a CSR policy that could also be applicable also in the case of SMEs (small and medium size enterprises), and present it in written format - 700 words (40% of the CW1 grade) DEADLINE W6 Monday 08:00 (Swiss Time) – electronic copy on UoD in Word W6 during class - Presentation (5 min max) (not graded, it is meant to discuss a little bit together, no need of PPT) REQUESTS The assessments of this Module are designed to enable you to show your ability to apply the theory into real- world business. Now that you have chosen the organization to analyze and use as a benchmark for its CSR involvement (the one of the Assessment 1) you need to analyze the material collected about its CSR Policy in order to evaluate it and provide recommendations.

In the written presentation you need to present the company CSR Policy (environmental, social and economic dimensions), highlight the key findings (environmental, social and economic dimensions), and make recommendations on its policy (environmental, social and economic dimensions), looking also for some opportunities to improve its activities but also the one of SMEs. This presentation should cover the following sections:

o Description of the CSR Policy o Evaluation of the CSR Policy (strength and weaknesses of it) o Recommendations (short term and long term) considering possible applications on SMEs

In order to analyze the CSR Policy of the company, students need to analyze the company Sustainability Report and any other reliable information collected.

The documents should be analyzed through the lenses of the Sustainable Development Goals – SDGS (2015) or the Tourism Sustainability Pillars by UNEP & WTO (2005).

On Moodle you find available the two Excel Documents that you must use to set the framework of the analysis to organize it using one of the following:

o SDGS CSR Reporting Assessment o UNEP & WTO CSR Reporting Assessment

If you want you can also use:

o GRI Standards for CSR Reporting Assessment (https://www.globalreporting.org)

In the main body of your work, you need to add the key findings of the analysis carried out using the two frameworks selected. Attach the tables in the Appendix (this won’t count in the word count, as

the content of any tables you use in the body). In the Appendix you can add any other type of evidence of your analysis.

Since this analysis is based on the company material and third-party material it is essential to reference the material, in text and in the reference list.
