· Read the challenging behavior scenario that your peer created and use the Developmental Discipline guidance strategy to problem solve. You must include the following in your response:
1. child’s name,
2. how you will approach the child,
3. possible reminder or private sign,
4. describe how you provide time and space,
5. an example of self-talk that can help the child problem solve,
6. a choice you can offer the child.

Challenging Behavior Scenario:
Its Circle Time and you are reading a story. Most of the children are engaged but Jose is squirmy. Halfway through the story, Jose begins to make 'choo choo' noises while squirming and the rest of the children are being distracted. You have asked him to listen to the story, but he is not complying.
