Reading Response Paper
You will write a 3-5 page paper responding to any of the in-text readings in the textbook. The Chapter Reading List can be found on Blackboard. In this paper you will explore the knee jerk reactions happening before reading, the surprises that come during the reading, and the overall response after reading. You will look to cite evidence from the reading to help support your responses and explain why you feel the way you do as well as look forward and think of a possible argument you might make for this topic. Focus a little on summarizing the text and mostly on your response to the reading and your reactions to the handling of the topic.
Paper Format
All papers should be double-spaced, in 12 point, Times New Roman font, with one inch margins. Please provide your name, class and date on the top left as well as a title centered before the text. Always document sources throughout your paper carefully and accurately. Use MLA guidelines to document your sources. See Rules for Writers or the Purdue OWL
