The Toronto Board of Trade is one of North America's most well-known and influential commercial institutions. The non-profit organization is tasked with serving, connecting, and representing Toronto's business sector. (Toronto Region Board of Trade, 2022). The board is directly involved in facilitating event planning, advocacy, policy development, and evaluation in Toronto. It also has authority in provincial and federal governments. It was established in 1845 and had headquarters in Toronto, Canada. The trade board receives funding from the federal government through the Ministry of Economic Development. The organization is crucial in developing ideas, people, and policies for business community stakeholders (Toronto Region Board of Trade, 2022). The Toronto Board of Trade is concerned with the commerce industry. The reputable institution has over 13,500 members and 175 years of connecting like-minded people in the North American business community.
